Our current president, Donald Trump, said that when elected he would construct a border wall between the United States and Mexico in order to stop illegal immigration. His plans include a process to put immigrants on the path to citizenship, but it's long and sketchy. While I agree that illegal immigration needs to end and that a wall may be necessary for that purpose, there also needs to be a much better way to process people coming from Mexico and Central America looking to become a U.S citizen. There needs to be a place, maybe two since it is a large border, but there needs to be a place, much like Ellis Island that can be thought of in a similar fashion. This place should be a structure or a series of structures in a sort of compound just north of the border where immigrants will be housed and processed through.
The path to citizenship will be much shorter than it is now, but it will be a grind. The living conditions will be similar to a jail cell without a locked door. The food they eat will be mostly bread and cheaper meats and vegetables. It will be this way to keep costs low. Most of their housing and food will be paid for by the immigrants in a processing fee they must pay to be allowed entry. They will be checked for criminal history, particularly that with drugs
and cartels, examined medically, and be taught basic English. They will
be required to fill out forms and questionnaires regarding why they
wish to become a U.S citizen, if they have any family or relatives in the United States, etc. If they do have family, the family will be screened briefly to ensure they are not involved in criminal activity. The premise of this amount of screening is to ensure that crime does stay out, because while plenty of good people come across that border, there's plenty of crime that crosses as well. This is simply meant to reduce that crime. On this journey, not everyone will make it. But for many, the day will come when they receive a stamp on their hand, walk down a hallway where a guard opens a door for them, and they walk outside as an American citizen. With contracting, licensing, and everything else that goes into building something it will be approximately ten to fifteen years predictably before the facility will be ready to process immigrants, and will cost several million dollars, respectively. When it is complete however, the process of becoming a United States citizen will be better than our current system, and it will eliminate one of the larger issues in our society today.

My website would be one that displays pictures taken during World War II and their descriptions in order to tell some of the history of a tremendous era which will attract historians and others who simply wish to learn more. It will have no pop up ads, but may have some stationary links to businesses posted at the bottom of page. My website would have several links that will allow the visitor to view images from a certain front and from there they can choose a link that takes them to images from a certain year. This will specify what part of the war they desire to see and learn about, and it will make it easier for them to find it.
When they get to the era they're looking for they will see images displayed vertically along the page with a drop down box below each image containing the details of who is in the image, where it was taken, and what is occurring. The main background color will vary from link to link, but will primarily be either an olive drab green or a gray color. Most of the pictures will be black and white, but some will be in color if they are already that way. The website will be for historians, and people interested in the war alike, for the same purpose of telling a story through photos and images, the story of a time when the world submerged itself into a global conflict that has shaped who we are today.

I plan on a having a career in law enforcement. While a degree in college is nice and may help you move along through the ranks, its not a required credential to be an officer. What is required are typically between 800 - 1,000 hours of training in the academy.
The salary can be different depending on what agency you work for. Some places start as low as $34,000 to $36,000 a year, and others start as high as $55,000 to $60,000 a year. As you gain more seniority, combined with a college degree and/or military experience, your salary will increase to a larger number.
It's a job that must be done all over the country in every city and state, so there's a lot of freedom in choosing where you want to work. As long as they're hiring you can work practically anywhere.
I feel like this is the career for me because it's one of the things I know best. My father's been a cop for twenty-six years so I grew up around it and have always known its what I want to do. I can't have a job where everything is scheduled and I have to sit at a desk everyday. I'd go crazy having to do that. In law enforcement, every day is different, and no matter what every day is a clean slate. Nothing left over from the day before that has to be done, you can just go and take what comes.
It's simply what my calling is, and I know it to be fact. All my life I wanted to be a cop, but I also wanted to be a Marine. In high school I was already in the Delayed Entry Program and was only weeks away from enlisting, but at the last second something happened and I realized I didn't want to wait four or more years to go to the academy. I wanted to go now. So, I listened to both callings, and chose the one that called louder. It's a decision I sometimes regret, but then I remind myself I only have about a year or so until I go, and that's how I know, its the career I was meant for.

My social media website is a site where people can post things online, as typical with any other social media network. Your posts will only be seen by your followers who you must allow to follow you, similar to facebook. Anyone not following you will only be able to see your name, which has to be a real name and not a weird user profile like whats used on snapchat, and your profile avatar. The site also cannot track your location as many others can.
One of the first big rules will be that you cannot verbally abuse other users over posts. If you want to complain and curse out other people whether they have an account or not that's just fine (depending on the circumstances). But you won't be allowed to verbally abuse any of your followers, nor can your followers do it to you. The main reason of this is to prevent problems from starting. Obviously the site will be closed to all non-members and you must register and create an account to join. When you create an account you will need to pay an entry fee. This entry fee is meant to weed out people who will create problems and also to help keep robots from trying to join to spread their viruses. As with other social media networks you will be allowed to create a business page in order to promote your business if you have one. Members need not follow you in order to follow your business page. However, if you create a business page you will be required to pay a monthly fee as taxation for advertising your business on my network.
Economically, I would make money through registration fee's and business page fee's. Physically it would allow people a place to post about things and communicate with one another in a more peaceful environment than many other social networks there are.
